There may be some double takes in the stands this weekend at Royal Purple Raceway here when Ron Capps drives the NAPA AUTO PARTS Funny Car up to the start line for the 24th annual NHRA Spring Nationals since his Dodge Charger R/T will sport a new paint scheme highlighting the NAPA Ultimate Tune-Up Big Event.

The NAPA logo remains the same but the rest of the car, which Ron hopes will carry him into the winner’s circle for the first time in the 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season, is covered with a new color and images of some of the parts which qualify for significant consumer rebates during the month-long program beginning May 1st at NAPA AUTO PARTS stores, NAPA AutoCare facilities or participating installer shops.
