Cruising Route 66 to the 2011 Kragen O’Reilly Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona.

The longest running indoor hot rod show in the country, The Grand National Roadster Show, is firing-up for its 8th year at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA (1101 W. McKinley Avenue). This three-day event runs January 28-30, 2011.

From its roots in Oakland, The 62nd Annual Kragen O’Reilly Grand National Roadster Show will again make history and showcase the world’s most beautiful hot rods, customs, street machines, trucks and motorcycles. Come see the best-of-the best builders-including Roy Brizio, Steve Moal, Steve Frisbie and Builder of the Year, Scott Bonowski of Hot Rods and Hobbies. The competition is hot as always; witness the awarding of the coveted “America’s Most Beautiful Roadster” and “America’s Most Beautiful Motorcycle” titles and thousands of dollars in prizes.

Meet Speed Channel’s Lee Reherman of Hot Rod TV and Battle of the Supercars, Bryan Fuller of 2 Guys Garage and Spike TV’s PowerBlock Hostess, the beautiful Courtney Hansen.

Visit this year’s feature, Customs: Then and Now, and see a collection of the most historically significant custom cars in the world. Building 9 will be filled with over 75 different members of custom car royalty. Aesthetic detail and flowing body lines will please the eye as you stroll through the time-lined exhibit and feel the history of the cruisin’ custom days. Meet and greet some of the most customs designers of all time!

This event will showcase over 700 more cars between the buildings and around the show. For the first time ever at the GNRS, these vehicles will cruise a parade route during the event! With ample seating for perfect viewing, you won’t want to miss this great addition to the show.

Car guys, gals, and the entire family will enjoy live rock’n’roll music, celebrity guests, and a trophy queen contest.
