NHRA Fans choose LE Tonglet’s Pro Stock

LE Tonglet’s stirring run to the 2010 Pro Stock Motorcycle championship in his rookie season was selected Upset of the Year in NHRA’s Inaugural Fan Choice Awards.  He was also runner-up to John Force in Driver of the Year balloting. 

Tonglet’s rise to the top of the PSM standings was solidified with stunning performances in the six playoff races – four victories in five final rounds and a 21-2 round-win record.  He is the third first-year driver to claim a Full Throttle Series title. 

LE battled Andrew Hines and the Harley Davidson team down to the final day of racing and Tonglet’s Nitro Fish Suzuki finished on top by four points to claim the title and accompanying $75,000 check.

His accomplishments include the Auto Club Road to the Future Award (rookie of the year) and the Full Throttle Hard Working Crew Award that went to the Tonglet Racing Team (Gary Tonglet and sons GT and LE).
